No-Name Orchestra of Boston

Co-founded in the fall of 2015, the No-Name Orchestra is a volunteer, non-competitive orchestra that gives people an opportunity to play concertos with full orchestra accompaniment. 

 

3 times a year, the conductor, soloist, and orchestra all meet (for the first time together) and perform a solo work WITHOUT any rehearsals.

This is a first and only run through of Bruch's Kol Nidre with soloist Celia R. and orchestra during No-Name Orchestra's 4th soloist event on February 4th, 2017. Conducted by Marshunda Smith No-Name Orchestra is a volunteer Orchestra that gives people an opportunity to play concertos with a full orchestra. Usually these are concertos that folks have worked on for years with their teachers, but aren't 'famous' enough to perform with an orchestra.
